ABOUT PRODUCTION ROCKSTAR ACADEMY
The Production Rockstar Academy is a for-profit institution dedicated to the advancement of education in the media and production industries. We offer a variety of programs that reach students beginning in the 6th grade and extending to adults well into their careers.
We seek to be a change agent from the traditional models of education, which promote high level roles from the onset, and fail to adequately train students to be the best, in a unique skill or specific set of aligned skills. This long held model casts a wide net, FOR students who leave school with little to no direction AND no idea of the many niche genres within media and production that exist. RESULTING IN A slew of filmmakers, producers, and directors with little technical skill or knowledge.
Our hands-on approach and proprietary curriculums are unique in their approach to teaching and bringing real world scenarios, problem-solving and lessons into the classroom, over theory and creative process.
We strive to be a school in which production and media companies, service providers, networks, and others come to seek a pool of well-trained, qualified behind-the-scenes talent.
