Interested in being a reality TV producer, director or want to work on the crew? This one-week, intensive, hands-on camp is perfect for you! You’ll learn the basic tips, tricks, and best practices that it takes to create a network-level reality TV show.

Over the course of the week, students will work with industry professionals to learn skills including production management, creative developing, casting, shaping the story, interviewing, shooting, editing, and other skills needed to make a complete show. Each participant will rotate through various roles throughout the week including but not limited to: Segment or Field Producer, Script Supervisor, Director, Camera Operator, PA, talent, grip, electric, crafty, and more.

While learning these skills, they will be actively producing and shooting their own reality show, which they will be showcased at a premier for family and friends at the conclusion of the camp! (June 17 @ 5pm)

Instructors include producers, directors, and technical personnel from hit shows including but not limited to: Paternity Court, Married to Medicine, Love & Hip Hop, Baddies, Love at First Sight, Love Island, Real Housewives of Atlanta and many many more!

Love concerts, TV specials, festivals, conferences, or other live events? Ever wonder how it all comes together and how all those massive speakers, lights, and LED walls get hung in the air and connected? Our live event production summer camp is the perfect place for you.

This 2 week, hands-on intensive program will immerse you into a world that you had no idea existed. In this camp we will explore everything from rigging, staging, audio, LED, lighting, projection, and scenic. Learn the fundamentals of what it takes to bring a live event to life. This camp will expose them to many different career options that they can begin to pursue while even still in high school.

While learning about the various skills and trades within live event production, participants will also be crafting and producing a live event.

Behind every major broadcast or live stream is a multitude of cameras and a control where the directors, producers and other operators and technicians make all the magic happen.

In this camp, participants will learn the basic of broadcast and a cinema cameras in the broadcast environment, video engineering, and get hands on experience with equipment such as switchers, teleprompters, graphics systems, audio consoles, and replay systems. We will also focus on eSports broadcasting, producing and directing for live broadcast and more.

Class will be led by industry professionals who work on projects that include but are not limited to NBA on TNT, NFon FOX, The Cube, Miss Universe, MLB, Paternity Course, Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, and a host of other award winning broadcast and cable programming.

Atlanta is the home and mecca of the south for film and TV production. From hits like the Walking Dead, to Tyler Perry’s massive Madea film and TV empire, The Game, BMF, and many more. But producing these shows requires a lot of talented people behind the scenes and in front of the camera to pull it all together.

This one week, hands-on, intensive summer camp will allow students to explore and engage in what it takes to create a short film and scripted TV series such as Girlfriends or Seinfeld, etc. Attendees will work with industry experts from hit projects filmed in Atlanta while also working with industry standard equipment including cameras, lighting and sound equipment, editing suites, etc.

Each student will learn about the various areas and get to work in multiple roles throughout the week. The camp will conclude with a premiere of their new TV show in front of family and friends.
